THE ADDED VALUE OF A UNIVERSITY MASTER’S PROGRAMME

The partnership with university institutions enables the acquisition of university diplomas that are clearly recognized within the framework of the Bologna Process, which is the international reform process for higher education systems within the European Union.

INTERNATIONAL EQUIVALENCIES

The Istituto Stomatologico Toscano offers university Master’s programmes in various dental disciplines in collaboration with Unicamillus - International Medical University in Rome. A Master’s is a high-level postgraduate scientific programme.

The Master’s programmes have a duration of at least one year and require the acquisition of at least 60 university credits (CFU, equivalent to ECTS). They can be either first or second level: first-level Master’s programmes are open to graduates of the first cycle, while second-level Master’s programmes are for graduates of the second cycle.

The second-level Master’s is a postgraduate qualification and is a flexible university programme where skills and knowledge from different areas interact to meet the demand for new professional roles and specialisations. The Master’s is ideal for graduates who wish to continue their studies after completing their degree, expand their knowledge, and specialise in a professional area by applying the concepts acquired during their undergraduate studies.

The skills developed during the Master’s degree course are an essential prerequisite for any postgraduate programme. This is because the curricula are designed and tailored to meet the actual needs of public and private institutions in individual countries. During the postgraduate programme, however, thanks to the direct involvement of external partners such as the Istituto Stomatologico Toscano, students have the opportunity to experience the world of work, new contexts, and refine their ambitions and career paths.
